After a couple of critically acclaimed 7”s (mind you, the first one was single of the year for the Spanish magazine Spiral, and ended up with their signing to ELEFANT RECORDS), “Orange park” really speaks for itself. An album of (thirteen) melodic, sensitive and mildly shoegazing songs related to us through these four guys from Zaragoza, who know what pop music is really about: risk, fun, and bittersweet tunes that sometimes make you dance and sometimes make you want to cry. When asked to describe this album, some critics have said that NOTHING fill the gap between the POSIES and SEBADOH with a personality of their own, and, really, ¿what could we say against that? Only that “Orange park” is a record which is easy to love: a combination of haunting and uplifting melodies destined to take everyone’s heart by storm. Just try and you’ll see what we mean. Satisfaction is granted.
