Córdoba has never been the same since the people teaming FLOW dared to publish that surrealist in its 100 % single, "Bitter candies in seven inches". And we suppose that FLOW themselves have changed quite a bit. In their single, you could see their preferences and their doubts: they worship SONIC YOUTH as much as PALE SAINTS, Pedro Almodóvar as much as Russ Meyer.
But they have grown up, they can wash their own clothes and write some irresistible songs. That's what they've done with their debut Lp, "Headquake", cooking songs sewed up with fun and precission. "1, 2, 3, 4" is a desintoxication cure, their new protest. Following it, lots of pop jewels shining with distortion, melodies that soak you (passing through your heart) to the bone. "Dazed And Allused" is surrounded of teenager promises to end overwhelmed by that time of life desperation. "Catch The Ball" couldn't be taken over neither by DINOSAUR JR. nor by THE POSIES. They wouldn't even try.
To enjoy and die on the trial, to dream again with what you had already forgotten. Nothing's left behind: the tempo of "It Must Be Love" melts and calms you, it plays with you while it's whispering to the muses of that thing called love. And as a derivate of love, nothing best than sexual fantasies with pet animals, like "Zoophilia", among sighs and promiscous licking that get you into unknown landscapes.
In the Cd, three extra tracks ("Drive Me To The End", "El Valle De Los Estéreos" and "Headquake Disaster"), new reasons for not missing the most tasty and irreverent bible of Spanish pop. Delicious fantasies to wake up hidden instincts.
